| Hej Bältespännare! Jag arbetar på en katalog över de statliga och privata järnvägsbrevkorten. För att få katalogen så fullständig som möjligt behöver jag få veta om ni har några järnvägsbrevkort eller andra kort med järnvägstext eller bild. Inga vykort. Jag har kontakt med Leif Bergman men vill gärna ha fler kontakter. Detta arbete är en utveckling och fortsättning på det utmärkta artiklarna av Leif B. och Åke T i Bältespännaren och Hobbybladet. från England, My main interests are local posts, stämpelmärken and fraktmärken, although I also collect many other cinderellas. My main country is Sweden, but I also collect from the rest of Scandinavia. I have been collecting these for over 20 years, and my link with Sf. Bältespännarna dates back to my meeting with Lars Liwendahl in London at Philympia 1980!
I
don't have a web-site, but I'd be very happy to hear from any other
collectors. You will understand that after 20 years I do have
quite a large collection! For example, in Svensk Stadspost, I'm
now particularly interested in bruksbrev and cancellations.
I'm
trying to collect the modern Swedish private posts.

I'm a member of Sf. Bältespännarna. Per
Erik Nilsson and Leif Bergman, among other members, are good personal
friends of mine in Sweden.
My collecting interests are Swedish revenues,
both the national and the local
revenues...and I'm also interested in revenues from all
the Scandinavian countries.
I can help your members there with US material of
many different kinds.
Right now, Scandinavian collectors in the US are
excited about Nordia 2001, which will be held in Tucson, Arizona, next
January. Please look at the website www.nordia2001.org
for information about the exhibition. The list of exhibits is
now available on the web, and although there is no Revenue Class in
the show, there is at least one revenue exhibit. That one is
from Tor Torsteins, from Reykjavik, Iceland. He showed this exhibit at
Nordia 1998 in Odense, Denmark.
Perhaps some of your members will be coming to Tucson
for Nordia, and if so, I'd be happy to know that in advance, so I can
plan to meet them there.
By the way, I work for a small Swedish consulting
company with headquarters in Stockholm. I think that at least
one of our employees lives in Vasteras. I get to Sweden
occasionally, although it's been about a year now since my last visit
